I’m still fairly new to this whole blogging world and to be honest I’m not entirely sure I’ve grasped the concept of being a blogger. I’ve read many blogs and couldn’t help but be amazed at the skills people have. I read a blog where I was encapsulated by what was being written. It was a short love story and each blog was based on a date the writer was going on. Some blogs were pictures and photos which took my breath away and made me hungry. I noticed with each blog it was based on something the writer felt compelled to write about. They have an idea, a passion which they want to share with the world. I ended up thinking about many things and went wild with my thoughts. My thoughts take me on a journey that differs from my reality. I needed a medium in which I could voice my thoughts.
I found myself writing in a journal. Within the pages of the journal are letters which I write to my best friend (God/the higher being up above). I write my hopes, dreams and aims. I explain my day, week, month or year. As I read through it I noticed there were many things I wanted to change and achieve. Contained within those pages were dreams of a girl who couldn’t wait to grow up. The words of a woman who wanted to make those dreams come true. The reality is very different though.
I started writing this blog as I’d hit rock bottom and I was changing my life around. I have goals, aims and a vision of the future me and right now I was very far from the vision. I thought I’d write about the changes I was making and that was going to be my starting point. The idea is to write about my journey on controlling and changing elements of me which need to be better in order for me to be the person I once was and envisage to be.
However, the only thing I needed to change was my mind. I had many thoughts and sometimes not all were good. I’ve decided to switch it up a little bit and share some of those thoughts with you.
This blog may come across a little wishy-washy and I do apologise. I had a ‘brain fart’ and have decided to write my changes and my thoughts. This is a personal blog it’s about me, my life, my opinions, feelings and the changes I’m making.
Welcome to my journey. I hope you enjoy the read and feel free to comment, like and question.
